Hilton Garden Inn Memphis Downtown

This newly built Hilton Garden Inn, well located in downtown Memphis, features a fresh interpretation of the classic Hilton brand. Renwil Hospitality worked closely with design firm Twelve Thirteen ID to bring numerous custom light fixtures, lamps, and mirrors to life.

The Greyhound bar features the best gin-focused craft cocktails in the city, and a beautiful modern decor highlighted by a series of large custom pendants. These oversized frosted acrylic globes are each accented with a clear (unfrosted) horizontal banding, and a metal vertical banding overlay.

Integrated LED was required to illuminate the frosted acrylic tips of these sleek metal “twist” fixtures, and to subtly light the layered ring fixtures adorning the lobby area.

Making a statement at the hotel entrance is a wonderful custom purple-tinted blown-glass chandelier mixing traditional design with a modern flare.

The large desk lamp features a metal shade reminiscent of the layered ring fixtures in the lobby, but with added frosted acrylic top and bottom diffusers allowing for an abundance of work and ambient light. It coordinates nicely with the industrial-style floor lamp poking its head above the lounge chair in the corner of the room.

Flanking the beds are swivel-head LED reading lights mounted to the headboard, and resting atop floating nightstands are unique lamps featuring layered frosted-acrylic shades.

The bathrooms feature mirrors with LED illuminated inset frosted panels, and the open-concept closet area has a sleek dressing mirror recessed within a thin 2-inch deep metal frame with rounded corners. The suites have a lovely large mirror with panels and inset round frames matching the exterior floating frame.
